Our Team: Mike Ring

Mike Ring pursued undergraduate studies in music at Missouri State University and Florida State University (FSU). He graduated with a degree in Geography in 2011 and then a Masters of Music in Piano Performance from Webster University in St. Louis in 2013. After finishing his music degree, he started a piano studio and has taught many students of all ages and skill levels for over ten years. In 2019, after moving to the Boston area, Mike earned a MSW degree from Boston College and has since been working full-time in fundraising for a nonprofit organization.

Mike has performed as an orchestral pianist and choral accompanist as well as with other various ensembles. He is also a composer of both classical and electronic music and is a semi-active performing musician. Mike has a particular interest in world music; he thoroughly enjoys the music by some Iceland bands.

In his free time, Mike likes to stay active outdoors, try new foods, and travel.
