David Siegel, Violin / Viola
David holds a Bachelor of Music degree, in violin performance, from the Manhattan School of Music. He has performed on a regular basis for many years, often as concertmaster, with a variety of organizations, including the Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Boston Ballet, Wang Center, Citi Center, Springfield Symphony, and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra. Has has also toured with Goldovsky Opera, Philharmonia Hungarica, and the Phantom of the Opera National Tour.
David’s primary teachers included Erick Friedman (a student of the great Heifetz) and the world-renowned violinist Aaron Rosand. David also completed Master Classes with the equally accomplished Hungarian violinist Sandor Vegh at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
David has taught violin with the Wellesley, Newton, Lincoln and Shrewsbury public schools, and has maintained a private studio over several decades.
David joined Pakachoag Music School in 2016.
