Alexander Technique
Curtis Smith began playing the piano at the age of seven. For the past 14 years he has taught students how to enjoy making music at the piano. He received his piano pedagogy training at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and the Pädagogische Hochschule in Freiburg, Germany. Curtis received his Master of Music in piano performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Curtis joined the Pakachoag faculty originally in 2008, serving until 2013 at which time he relocated out of area. He returns to Central Mass. and Pakachoag as of 2018.
Curtis currently serves as Director of Music at First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and is a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique.
