Why Summer Music Learning?
Summer is generally a more relaxed time for children and youth than school year when many activities compete for time and attention. As teachers, we find that students often progress more rapidly during the summer. This is, in part, because we learn better when we are not stressed. It is also easier to focus on subject matter that is new or more demanding.
For young children, there is nothing more natural than singing and moving to music. Our summer samplers are a great way to make music part of your summer fun. And, you can meet other families with young children.
Relax with Music
If you are looking for ways to enjoy good music, check out Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music. The center is located in Keene, NH. Several faculty and friends have been involved with Apple Hill over the years.
Tanglewood is another great place to enjoy summer music.
