Other Music Together Information
Music Together classes are appropriate for children aged birth through five years. Parent/Caregiver participation is key, as the adult serves as the child’s role model.
While the Music Together curriculum is designed for children birth to 5, the School offers a special babies music class for those younger than 9 months. Learn more here. Please indicate interest while registering for Music Together. This class will be offered depending on interest and availability. A reminder that babies under 9 months old attending general Music Together classes with an older sibling are always free!
For children over five years old, the School offers Rhythm Kids as part of the Music Together for older students. The curriculum is designed for children K-2 (child must be at least 5 years old as of 9/1/22). Learn more about Rhythm Kids here.
Registration, including a submitted form and payment, is required to participate. Once a class is confirmed as running, a confirmation email will be sent to all families. This may at times be within the week of class start date.
To assist with scheduling and confirming classes, please:
- register in advance
- plan for a second choice class when registering in the event that the first choice selected does not run due to low enrollment.
If you are submitting a registration one week or less in advance of class start date, please allow at least 48 business hours for us to respond and confirm. Thank you.
2024-2025 Tuition is $204 for 10-week sessions (Fall & Spring); and $194 for the winter session which runs 9 weeks.
Sibling, pre-registration and referral discounts are available. Full details available on the Music Together Tuition page.
Weather cancellations are determined at least two hours prior to class start time. Please note that the School does not call or email families. Please visit the Weather Page so you know what to expect. All cancellations are posted on the Weather Page only.
If you miss a class, please feel free to contact the office to book a make-up in an alternate class. We’ll accommodate up to 2 make-up bookings (per child) as space permits. Due to health considerations, we will need to review class size before booking make-ups. For working parents enrolled on Saturdays, we will often schedule an additional Saturday class at or towards the end of each session for family make-up. Week day parents are also welcome to inquire and schedule for this add-on Saturday class is space permits.
If a teacher must cancel a class for sickness or similar, we will contact families directly by email. Occasionally, a substitute teacher may be assigned if circumstances permit.
Please review full policy and participation guidelines available on the Music Together Policies page here.
