Registration Fee: $40 for individuals | $70 for families
Non-refundable; applied once annually.
School Year: 34 weeks, September through late-May/early-June.
32 weeks for Saturday and Monday students due to holidays.
Registration: Ongoing/year-round, as schedules and availability allow.
Lessons starting after mid-September are prorated to the number of weeks remaining in the school year.
Prospective students must complete a Private Lessons Inquiry Form before registering for lessons. The program director will determine, through conversation, the best instrument and teacher match.
Returning students may proceed directly to registration. Beyond the pre-registration period, all lesson slots are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Families with limited financial means are encouraged to apply for financial aid. Qualification is based solely on family/adult student income, while the number of dependents and unusual circumstances will be taken into consideration. Tuition assistance is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
If needed, the office will assist in completing the application. Families/adult students must also provide an official document attesting to monthly or annual income, such as a paystub or tax return.
Pakachoag maintains a small instrument library. While not guaranteed, instruments are available for loan to financial aid recipients during the school year.
