Violin & Fiddle

Young violinist takes lessons in West Boylston
A young violin student during lesson time in one of the teaching studios at the W. Boylston FCC Church.

Pakachoag offers violin lessons for students aged 4 1/2 and up.  This includes Suzuki method violin lessons  for ages 4.5 through high school and traditional lessons for ages 6 and up.

We also offer fiddle (folk) style instruction.

Violin lessons are available in Worcester and West Boylston.

To learn more about the Suzuki Method, please visit our Suzuki Violin & Cello Program page.

Pakachoag accepts students of all levels, beginners to advanced.  Because most teachers hold advanced degrees in music and several are active performers in regional orchestras and as soloists, we can accept students at the highest levels of training, including conservatory level.  Our School Director will work with you to determine the best placement in terms of schedules, musical interests and individual goals.

While lessons are scheduled on a weekly basis during the school year, we will consider accepting adult students on an every-other-week basis if scheduling permits.

Summer lessons are available on an individual basis according to student and teacher availability.  Please contact the office in April or May for information regarding summer lesson availability.

Violin Lessons Teachers

Pakachoag currently has six violin teachers on staff.  Lessons are offered Monday through Friday during after-school and evening hours; also some limited availability on Saturday mornings.  Morning lessons may also be available, for home schooled students, according to individual teacher schedules.

You can view our violin teacher bios by visiting the Faculty Page.
