Group Music Options

An Overview to Get Started

There is something to be said about being part of a group music class or ensemble. You gain a sense of belonging. Group activities are fun and rewarding. If you are looking for a great way to meet some new people, to try something new, or to bring your musicianship to the next level, then group classes or joining an ensemble may be a good choice.

Browse the sub pages for class details.  From time-to-time we add options based on interest.  Please join our mailing list to receive our monthly e-news which will include any program updates.

In our Suzuki classes, you can develop your playing skills or, as a Theory/Musicianship student, learn about music composition, theory, or music appreciation in a relaxed, collaborative environment with like-minded peers!

For young, school aged children you can explore music with our Rhythm Kids classes or our Music Safari Beginning Keyboard Class.

By joining an ensemble or participating in our Student Performance  program you can take your talents to the stage!  Ensembles include ad-hoc chamber ensemble opportunities or more formal enrollment with our Partners in Music:  The Worcester Youth Orchestras or Worcester Children’s Chorus.

In summer programs you can collaborate with other students of a similar age and skill level in a fun and focused environment.  Some classes culminate in a performance for family and friends! Summer programming may vary year to year so be sure to check our Summer Program section.

Special adult group classes include options for Fiddle Band (school year and summer) and Summer Courtyard Flute Academy.  Summer offerings vary year to year.
