Group Programs: A Bridge for Musical Exploration and Creativity

Musical Adventures I & II (Fall and Spring)

Ages 5-7

Are you interested in moving beyond Music Together? but aren't quite ready for private lessons? This class is an ideal segue for those who may be too old for Music Together but not quite ready for Recorder Club or Private Lessons.

Using musical games, with an emphasis on improvisation and creative movement, children will explore music fundamentals and be introduced to the basics of musical notation. Includes some hands-on exploration using recorders, xylophones and keyboard; and introduction of other common musical instruments.

Spring Session classes will include a variety of new activities for continuing students; however, enrollment in Fall Session is not required in order to enroll for the Spring Session.
